Worked with senior executives in the Online Advertising group to prepare the three-year Vision document. Interviewed various stakeholders, documented their ideas, facilitated discussions and reviews to build consensus, and developed the final Vision document.

 

2007-2008Ascentium Corporation Was the lead contract writer developing the Dynamics CRM 4.0 application certification course. Interviewed subject matter experts and ghost-wrote a highly-regarded white paper on CRM. Created click-through PowerPoint sales decksdemonstrating the product.

 

2006-2007IT DevWorks, LLC Started a small company to sell an ecommerce component. Created the corporate website using HTML, CSS, and Photoshop. Developed innovative assistance and UI components for Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project. Led the team in the process of determining the goal-based organization and implementing the new design.  Participated in out-of-box usability tests and focus groups, and developed usability tests.Created VB mock-ups of Help components and Wizards. Organized, scheduled, and managed the development of Microsoft Project’s reference help.Helped design the next version of Office’s Help. Mentored a subgroup in usability and design, leading the team in performing cognitive walkthroughs, brainstorming and prototyping alternative designs, and conducting usability testing, using eye-tracking software, to compare alternative and original designs.
